PARK CITY, UT (May 9, 2017) – New Hampshire ski racing official Ted Sutton (Lincoln, NH) has been named as the recipient of the 2017 Julius Blegen Award recognizing lifetime service to ski and snowboard competition. The Blegen Award, the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association's highest service honor, will be presented Thursday, May 14 in Park City during the annual USSA Congress.
ST. MORITZ, Switzerland (March 18, 2016) – Out of the 11 teams entered in the World Cup Finals team event, Switzerland put on a show in front of the home crowd for a win. Team USA made it through the first round, but did not move past the quarterfinals, tying for fifth place.

U.S. Ski & Snowboard recognized its top clubs as a part of its annual awards. The Mammoth Mountain Ski & Snowboard Team was named overall Club of the Year for the second time, having been honored in 2019. Eldora Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club was recognized as Development Club of the Year.
Organization & Purpose
The Alpine Sport Committee pursuant to U.S. Ski & Snowboard Bylaw Article VI (c) will work with the staff of U.S. Ski & Snowboard to develop plans, strategies, and policies for submission to the president and CEO for the development and operations of alpine skiing and to assist U.S. Ski & Snowboard in the operation of the alpine skiing programs consistent with FIS regulations, U.S. Ski & Snowboard bylaws and The Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sport Act.
As a very successful competition season comes to an end, U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes take to the off-season, each with their own unique programs. In a three-part series, we caught up with Olympian and X Games freeski gold medalist Maggie Voisin (Whitefish, Mont.) and teammates Toby Miller (Mammoth Lakes, Calif.) and Hailey Langland (San Clemente, Calif.) from the U.S. Snowboard Pro Team to find out how they will mentally and physically regroup for the season to come.
