Ben Ritchie hails from the East Coast, learning to ski at Jay Peak Ski Club, and moving on to Green Mountain Valley School. Ritchie specializes in slalom, some of his top World Cup results include 20th place in the Garmisch, Germany slalom, and 23rd in the Schladming, Austria slalom.  Some of Ricthie’s other top results include second place at the Team Event in the 2019 Junior World Championships along with teammates Katie Hensien, AJ Hurt, and River Radamus.

Luke Winters led the Land Rover U.S. Alpine Ski Team in the Zagreb, Croatia night slalom on Sunday, finishing in 28th place.

Clément Noël of France took his fourth FIS Ski World Cup win and the esteemed Snow Queen Trophy. Ramon Zenhaeusern of Switzerland was second and young Alex Vinatzer of Italy stepped on his first World Cup podium, in third.

Luke Winters scored his first-ever World Cup points on Sunday, finishing 19th in the FIS World Cup slalom in Val d’Isere, France.

After Saturday’s race was canceled due to heavy snow and wind, the skies turned blue for Sunday’s rescheduling of the slalom. To the home crowd’s delight, Frenchman Alexis Pinturault blew away the field, winning the race by 1.44 seconds for only his third slalom win ever. Andre Myhrer of Sweden was second and Stefano Gross of Italy was third.

With nearly perfect conditions on the Soelden glacier to kick off the 2020-21 season, Tommy Ford was the top Land Rover U.S. Alpine Ski Team athlete in the men’s opening FIS World Cup on Sunday, finishing 22nd.

While the boisterous Austrian crowd was absent from the annual giant slalom this year due to COVID-19, 20-year-old Lucas Braathen of Norway made fans smile from home as he emotionally took home his first World Cup win. Swiss teammates Marco Odermatt and Gino Caviezel rounded out the podium in second and third.

The men’s first Audi FIS Ski World Cup race of the 2023-24 season, the annual giant slalom in Sölden, Austria, was canceled due to high winds after 47 racers. Before the final call was made, four Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team men sat in the top 30.

The Stifel U.S. Ski Team men recently visited over 150 U.S. service members in Garmisch during the Garmisch, Germany super-G World Cup race series. The event hosted at the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort set up tables, chairs and a large American flag bringing the U.S. spirit to the alps.

The sun was shining down on the Courchevel track once again, making way for a strong day of super-G racing. Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team athlete River Radamus, fresh off his fourth place finish in the alpine combined, once again led the way for the men’s team, placing 16th from bib 34.

“This was definitely more of a speed skiers super-G, but mindset was the same: I am always skiing to win and be on the podium,” said Radamus. “I felt like I skied with the right approach and attacked as hard as I could.”

The Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team dominated the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships team event, taking home their first ever parallel gold medal and the team’s second medal of the World Champs. The team was made up of athletes Nina O’Brien, Paula Moltzan, Tommy Ford and River Radamus for the starters, and Katie Hensien and Luke Winters as substitutes.
