The Stifel U.S. Alpine Team tech men had a strong showing at the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in Alta Badia on Monday with River Radamus leading the way in 10th place. Tommy Ford had a speedy second run and ended up in 15th place.

Stifel U.S. Ski Team athlete River Radamus posted a personal best slalom finish in the Adelboden, Switzerland slalom Sunday with a 19th place finish, jumping from bib 70 to 19th place, a whopping 51 spots. Ben Ritchie secured his first slalom points of the season in 23rd place.

Battling more than 19 inches of new snow and tough course conditions, River Radamus was the top American in the FIS World Cup giant slalom in Val d’Isere, France, continuing to show his strength in giant slalom with an impressive 13th place.

On Friday, March 1 in the first of two giant slaloms at the Stifel Aspen Winternational presented by United, River Radamus skied to an 11th place position.

River Radamus showed his consistency, finding the top 10 for the second time in two days at the FIS World Cup giant slalom in Alta Badia, Italy, finishing 10th.

Marco Odermatt of Switzerland won the race handily, taking the victory by more than a second over local Italian hero Luca De Aliprandini, who scored his first World Cup podium in second place. German Alexander Schmid also had his first podium appearance, finishing in third. Sunday’s race winner Henrik Kristoffersen was just off the podium in fourth.
