ASPEN, Colorado (Mar. 14, 2017) – The upper echelon of ski racers from around the world have descended upon a little place called Aspen, Colorado this week for the final Audi FIS Ski World Cup event of the season – the grand finale – World Cup Finals.
Headlining the event will be Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO), who recently swept the tech series and clinched the slalom globe at Squaw Valley, California, is attempting to bring home her career first overall World Cup title this week. Fans can watch her quest for the crystal globe all week on NBC and NBCSN.
ROSA KHUTOR, Russia (Feb. 18) – Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) skied to fifth Tuesday during her first-ever Olympic appearance at the women’s giant slalom of the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games. Heavy rain pelted the 18-year-old World Champion during her second run, but she reigned in a world-class performance to land in the top five behind gold winner Tina Maze of Slovenia. The race will be featured on NBC’s Primetime Olympic coverage Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. EST and can be streamed in its entirety at NBCOlympics.com.

Xfinity Killington Cup - Killington, Vt.
Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, Colo.) headlines a field of talented U.S. and international skiers at the first domestic women’s FIS Ski World Cup of the season. Athletes will race giant slalom on Saturday, Nov. 25 and slalom on Sunday, Nov. 26.
VAL GARDENA, Italy (Dec. 19, 2014) - There are some downhill courses that suit certain athletes. And the fabled Saslong in Val Gardena is that downhill course with the U.S. Ski Team's Steven Nyman (Sundance, UT). On Friday, Nyman etched his name once again into the annals of skiing history as he won his third career downhill in one of his sport's most challenging races.
Tommy Ford led the way for the Land Rover U.S. Alpine Ski Team men on a stunning day in Adelboden, Switzerland, finishing 10th in the FIS World Cup giant slalom. Ryan Cochran-Siegle was right on Tommy’s tails in 12th, with River Radamus collecting his best GS finish in 18th.
