World Champs: Women's Super Combined Preview

SCHLADMING, Austria (Feb. 7) - Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) will lead four U.S. Ski Team athletes into Friday's women's super combined at the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships in Schladming. She will be joined by Leanne SmithLaurenne Ross (Bend, OR) and Stacey Cook (Mammoth Mountain, CA). Combined downhill is at 10:00 a.m. in Schladming with the downhill at 2:00 p.m. Universal Sports Network will provide coverage at 10:00 a.m. EST

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) was the silver medalist in super combined in 2007 at Are.
  • Universal Sports Network will carry same-day coverage at 10:00 a.m. EST
  • Over 20,000 fans are expected.
  • The 2015 FIS Alpine Ski World Championships will return to the USA for Vail/Beaver Creek 2015.
