Kotsenburg Fifth in Spindleruv

SPINDLERUV MLYN, Czech Republic (March 16) - Sage Kotsenburg (Park City, UT) threw down and earned a season-best fifth finish at the Spindleruv World Cup slopestyle on Saturday, the top spot for U.S. Snowboarding. Torstein Horgmo from Norway rode with authority and landed on the top of the podium for the men. Enni Rukajarvi from Finland took the women’s comp.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Sage Kotsenburg (Park City, UT) earned a season-best fifth finish at the Spindleruv World Cup slopestyle on Saturday, the top spot for U.S. Snowboarding.
  • Eric Beauchemin (Lake Winola, PA) nabbed his career best World Cup finish in seventh after tearing it up in NorAms this season.
  • Eric Willett (Breckenridge, CO) finished 13th.
  • Torstein Horgmo from Norway rode away with the win for the men.
  • Enni Rukajarvi from Finland won the women’s comp.
  • No U.S. women qualified for the finals.
  • The impressive, deep field of talented athletes went huge on the Czech slopestyle course. 
  • Next up, the athletes head to Tignes, France for Euro X Games March 18-22.
