Fletcher Fastest Again in Chaikovski
CHAIKOVSKI, Russia (Jan. 5) – Olympian Taylor Fletcher (Steamboat Springs, CO) skied another impressive race Sunday, earning the fastest time of the day for the second day in a row and finishing sixth in the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup in Chaikovski. Fletcher started the 10k cross country portion 2:15 back and took the fastest time by a 26-second margin, while Austria’s Wilhelm Denifl took the victory. Next, the men head to Chaux Neuve, France Jan. 11-12 for a pair of nordic combined World Cup events.

These results are great for my mental level. I know that I can compete with the best again. I look forward to more chances and better jumps as well.
Russian snow is very difficult. Sochi was very wet and slow and Chaikovski was cold and slow. I think slow conditions are great for me.
