- will be updated after each race

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard SuperTour presented by the National Nordic Foundation is recognized by FIS as the Continental Cup for the United States- the highest level of competition in the country. Top racers race head to head in a variety of disciplines across the country  with World Cup start spots and funding on the line.

Period 1

The SuperTour season will start with 4 races on the challenging trails at the Birkie Trailhead. The season will kick off with a Freestyle Sprint on December 12th, 2024, then move to a Classic Sprint and 10k Freestyle Individual Start on the weekend, and close with a Classic 20k Mass Start. The leader of the SuperTour after these 4 races will be offered start rights in the Tour de Ski!

Period 2

The next period of the SuperTour coincides with the 2025 US Nationals Cross Country Championships hosted by the Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage and Cross Country Alaska at Kincaid Park in Anchorage, AK. Racing begins on January 2nd with the 10km Freestyle Individual Start National Championship. The next race will be January 4th, a Classic Sprint National Championship. The 20km Classic Mass Start National Championship will be on January 5th (Note that Junior athletes will race a 10km on this day). The week of racing will conclude with a Freestyle Sprint on January 7th. Note that the sprint on January 7th is not a National Championship, just a SuperTour. The Freestyle Sprint National  Championship will be held at SuperTour Finals/Spring Nationals in Lake Placid, NY.

The first 3 races at U.S. Nationals (including the Junior 10km Mass Start) are used to select athletes to t he World Junior Championships and NNF U18 Trip. All 4 races will be used to select athletes to the World U23 Championships Team. World Junior/U23 Championships will be held in Bergamo, Italy. Scoring for those trip qualifications will be maintained HERE.

Period 3

P3 will see SuperTour athletes convene in Bozeman, Montana in conjunction with the Montana State University Invitational at Crosscut Mountain Sports Center. Racing will start with a 20km Freestyle Mass start on January 24th, then a Freestyle Sprint on January 25th, and a 7.5k Classic Individual Start on January 26th. These will be the last races in the Selection Period for the 2025 World Ski Championships in Trondheim, Norway

The SuperTour will make it's annual trip to Birkieland on the last Saturday in February with racers covering the 52km from Cable to Hayward, WI at the Slumberland American Birkebeiner Freestyle Mass Start.

Period 4- SuperTour Finals and Sprint National Championships

The SuperTour season concludes with SuperTour Finals and Spring National Championships at Lake Placid, NY on the trails of Mt. Van Hoevenberg from March 26th-31st.
