Preview: Men's Super Combined

SCHLADMING, Austria (Feb. 10) - Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) will be among favorites in Monday's FIS Alpine Ski World Championships super combined. Ligety opened the men's Championship schedule last week with gold in super G. Combined downhill is at noon in Schladming with the slalom under the lights at 6:15 p.m. local time Universal Sports Network will provide live coverage of the combined slalom finale beginning at noon EST.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) will go for his second gold in Monday's super combined at the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships in Schladming.
  • Ryan Cochran-Siegle (Starksboro, VT), who won the combined at FIS Junior Worlds last year, is getting his second World Championships start.
  • Will Brandenburg (Spokane, WA) was 10th in super combined at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
  • Tommy Biesemeyer (Keene, NY) was 13th in super G in his World Championships debut last week.
  • Universal Sports Network will carry live coverage at noon EST
  • The 2015 FIS Alpine Ski World Championships will return to the USA for Vail/Beaver Creek 2015.
