By U.S. Ski & Snowboard
January, 29 2016

Mammoth Mountain, CA (Jan. 28, 2016) – The Revolution Tour continued this week with a stop at Mammoth Mountain, just on the heels of the U.S. Grand Prix. Americans Nadia Gonzales (Keystone, CO) and Alex Hall (Park City, UT) both took wins in Slopestyle, while Jeanee Crane-Mauzy (Park City, UT) and Jaxin Hoerter (Breckenridge, CO) were the top American finishers in halfpipe, both finishing second.

Both Gonzales and Hall were happy with the world-famous Mammoth Unbound course and were able to put down the runs they wanted to win slopestyle.

“The course was really fun,” Gonzales said, while Hall commented, “I thought the course was really awesome; they toned it down a little from Grand Prix so the jumps were clearable and the rails were fun so I thought it was a great course.”

QUOTES

Nadia Gonzales
I landed the run that I wanted to; It was a little bit sloppy because of the weather but I managed to put it to my feet so I’m stoked.

Alex Hall
I was struggling a little in training but I had this run in mind for finals and managed to put it down first run; I’m really happy with it. It was pretty perfect conditions for a competition.
