Nearly 200 masters alpine races are held each season in all four disciplines DH, SG, GS, and DH are scheduled at 20+ resorts across the united states.

The 2020 Masters National Speed Series (NSS) will return to many of our usual venues and a few new ones! Some venues have extra speed races in addition to the designated NSS races so be sure to check the full event details when registering!
Age class medals are awarded at each event and overall season belt buckles at the final event. The overall Speed Series champions trophies are awarded to the overall fastest racer in each of three groups:
- Group A/B (men age 18-64)
- Group D (men age 65+)
- Group C (all women)

The 2020 Phillips 66 Alpine Masters Eastern Championships will be held at Stratton Mountain VT. Stratton Mountain Resort is one of New England’s premier racing venues and has produced scores of U.S. Ski Team athletes over the years, with athletes on the U.S. Olympic Alpine Team in eleven out of
the last twelve winter games!
The Stratton races are some of the most popular races on the New England Masters circuit each year. This event promises varying and challenging terrain, world class course sets, endless views of the Green Mountains, with amazing after-parties and après scene!

All U.S. Ski & Snowboard Masters Members can compete, but a FIS Masters License is required for racers 30 years and older.
***For those renewing FIS Licenses: you MUST renew by January 24th to be on the current points list! If you renew after that date, you will not be on the active points list and we will have to seed you on the start list with 999 points.***

Ski Cooper is pleased to be hosting this year’s Master's National Downhill Championship March 14-15. It is required that all racers participate in at least one of the DH training runs to be eligible to compete in the DH races. The Ski Cooper downhill venue has a heated start house and an amazing view. The course is very Masters friendly and is an excellent venue for both experienced speed skiers and newer racers. To take advantage of our access to this great venue, additional Speed training and SG races are scheduled for March 12-13.

Known as SKI TOWN, U.S.A.®, Steamboat Springs is a Colorado Western town with a dedicated race venue and great recreational skiing for all levels. Awards parties are planned for each race day and the week will culminate with a gondola ride to the awards banquet at the top of the mountain. On your day off enjoy free-skiing the mountain, snowshoe Rabbit Ears Pass, or check out the local hot springs. Don’t miss out on the complimentary Champagne Powder® donut holes and hot chocolate, served at the base area at 3 PM daily.

Combining training, racing and family the ultimate fun. With daily and weeklong training camps plus the opportunity to check out next season’s race equipment at the tech/demo centers in Government Camp, this is masters ski racing at its best! There are age classes for adults and juniors.
The weekend kicks off with a welcome party and racer check-in in Government Camp. Saturday starts early with a GS race followed by an BBQ/awards party with lots of food, beer, awards, and prizes. On Sunday there is a SL race followed by an awards party and swim at the Timberline pool.
