Chloe Kim from Torrance, California is a star athlete in the world of halfpipe snowboarding. Not only has she championed in nearly everything she's competed in, including the X Games and on World Cups, she is a two-time gold medalist at the Olympics in 2018 and 2022. The only reason Chloe was not able to compete in the 2014 Olympics was due to the age restriction. Fun fact: Kim knocks on her snowboard twice ritually before every run because of the old saying of knocking on wood for good luck.

Not only has she excelled athletically, but she has also excelled academically. She attended Princeton University and fluently speaks three different languages.

After taking a pause from competition in the 2022-23 season, Kim is returning to the competitive snowboarding circuit in 2024.
