Sport Coordinator

Position Summary:

The purpose of this position is to coordinate, communicate, and execute sport programs in place for athletes, coaches and officials in the United States. This position works closely with the Cross Country Sport Development Manager and Director of Competition Services, and reports to Cross Country Sport Development Manager.  This position is based out of U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s Center of Excellence in Park City, UT

 

Position Responsibilities:

Oversee, communicate and deliver a comprehensive domestic programs and events, including:

 

  • Data Entry - Team Competition Data Entry
  • Organizational Contact – Have the ability to provide basic contact direction within the U.S. Ski & Snowboard organization.
  • Website - posting and distribution of Nordic race events, points standing, coaches’ clinics and official’s conferences to the website
  • Nordic Competition Guide - Manage and publish the annual Nordic Competition Guide (including Cross Country, Nordic combined and ski jumping information). 
  • Nordic Committees Minutes - Plan and manage the Nordic Committees (Cross Country, Nordic combined and jumping) and develop and distribute agendas for meetings during U.S. Ski & Snowboard Congress, produce meeting minutes, participate in Committee meetings, and assist Committee Chairmen with the operation of the meetings.
  • Nordic Team Uniforms - Manage the ordering and distribution of Nordic team uniforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.
