Freestyle Officials and Judges
Freestyle officials ensure that U.S. Ski & Snowboard competitions run efficiently and fairly by the rules. They are responsible for the safe conduct of the event and the accurate timing, judging, and scoring. They also play a key role in ensuring that the spirit of the sport and competition is maintained.
In the end, officials are responsible for providing the best possible experience for U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes
The 2018 FIS Freestyle Judges A Clinic - Lake Placid, NY October 11th - 14th
A reminder that all A level judges must attend the FIS A level judges clinic to be considered for a World Cup assignment. The A clinic is open to all freeskiing judges and FIS Certified A and B freestyle judges. All participants must be current members of their national ski association.
**Please no attendance to A level if C Certified, unless prior permissions is given.**
New FIS policy: Judges must attend the FIS clinic scheduled in their region. If one wants to go to another clinic they must have permission from their NSA.
*There will be limited paper handouts and most clinic materials will be electronic. Feel free to bring your laptop to the clinic.*
The 2018 FIS Freestyle Judges B Clinic - Park City, Utah November 2nd - 4th
This clinic is open to all FIS Certified B and C freestyle judges. Freestyle judges that wish to apply for a FIS C level (National certification) license may attend. All participants must be current members of their national ski association.
FIS policy: Judges must attend the FIS clinic scheduled in their region. If one wants to go to another clinic they must have permission from their NSA.
