- 1. 2016 was a breakout year for Vedder: He scored multiple Nor-Am Cup podiums, made his first World Cup appearance, and he won the gold medal for the U.S. at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Winter Games.
- 2. In the offseason, Jake likes to spend a lot of time doing charity work in Detroit and local hospitals
- 3. He has a comic book series coming out about his life
- 4. In 2018, Jake became a junior world champion in Cardona, New Zealand.
