LAKE PLACID, NY (Jan. 21) – Dylan Ferguson (Amesbury, MA) and Emily Cook (Belmont, MA) both made the top 10 in the USANA Freestyle Cup in Lake Placid, Saturday. Ferguson and Cook both finished 8th. Standing on top of the podium was Mengtao XU of China for the women and Thomas Lambert of Switzerland for the men. The FIS Freestyle World Cup continues Jan. 28-29 in Calgary, AB, with both aerials and moguls competition before returning to Deer Valley, UT Feb. 2-4 for the Visa Freestyle International.

HOUGHTON, MI (Dec. 23, 2015) – Cross country ski racers from around America will converge on Michigan’s Upper Peninsula as Michigan Tech University Nordic Training Center in Houghton will play host to the U.S. Cross Country Championships presented by L.L.Bean January 3-9. The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) has confirmed the event after recent snowfall in the Keweenaw Peninsula allowed organizers to prepare trails.

AROSA, Switzerland (Dec. 13, 2016) - Under the lights in Arosa, American Tania Prymak (Goshen, NY) skied to seventh in a FIS World Cup skicross event - the best finish ever by a U.S. woman.

Marielle Thompson of Canada won for the women with Swiss Romain Detraz taking the men’s competition.

The finish was another vital steppingstone for Prymak who has been quietly making her way up the international ranking list. Last February she finished 10th in the World Cup Olympic test event in Bokwang, South Korea - then an American best for women.
