December, 3 2013

LAKE LOUISE, AB (Dec. 3) - Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) is expected to start in Wednesday's official downhill training run at the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup in Lake Louise. A decision on her participation in downhill competitions Friday and Saturday, along with super G on Sunday, will be made after the final official training session Thursday. Vonn felt strong after weekend super G training at Vail's Golden Peak. She has been continually monitored in training by U.S. Women's Ski Team Head Physician Dr. Bill Sterett of Vail who, together with coaches, feel her knee is stable and she's cleared to begin downhill training.
