Ligety, Weibrecht Tie in Kvitfjell SG
KVITFJELL, Norway (March 3) - World Champion Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) and Olympic bronze medalist Andrew Weibrecht (Lake Placid, NY) tied for 18th Sunday to lead the U.S. Ski Team in the final Audi FIS Alpine World Cup super G before World Cup Finals. Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal won on home snow to lock the men's super G title prior to the final race with his fourth victory in the discipline this season. Universal Sports Network will broadcast the race at 9 a.m. ET.

Both Ted and Andrew skied well. They made some good turns, but you had to really go hard and straight and just throw yourself absolutely down the hill if you wanted to have a chance. Generally our guys just over skied it.
The hill was an easy course set – pretty straight with a lot of places to tuck. Besides Aksel, who was perfect today, the times were all really tight.
