2015 World Champs Broadcast to 750 Million

VAIL, CO (Sept. 25) - An estimated 750 million will view the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships set for Feb. 2-15 with events in Vail and Beaver Creek, CO. The television images will be provided by EUROVISION, an internationally recognized leader in sports production and newly named official Host Broadcaster of the 2015 World Championships. Fans interested in attending the championships will have the opportunity to view all the events free and still enjoy a spectacular skiing experience at Vail and Beaver Creek.

A sneak peak of what the biennial event will be staged this fall as the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup tour rolls through town with a two-week series of 2015 test events featuing Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO), Bode Miller (Franconia, NH), Ted Ligety (Park City, UT), Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) and Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA). Racing opens Nov. 29-Dec. 1 with a women's downhill, super G and giant slalom followed by a men's super G, downhill and giant slalom Dec. 6-8.
