Welcome to the 2021 Toyota U.S. Grand Prix – FIS World Cup Freeski & Snowboard Halfpipe event at Copper Mountain, Colorado!

Key Facts: 
  • The Toyota U.S. Grand Prix at Copper is one of four U.S. Olympic halfpipe snowboard qualifying events and one of six U.S. Olympic Freeski qualifying events for the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.

  • The Toyota U.S. Grand Prix is the longest-running winter action sports tour and has served as a major part of the U.S. Freeski Team and U.S. Snowboard Team Olympic qualification series since 1998, launching Olympic medalists including Chloe Kim, Jamie Anderson, Red Gerard, Shaun White, David Wise and Nick Goepper toward medals.
  • This competition will serve as the first 2021-22 Halfpipe qualifying event bringing the best athletes in the world to debut their latest tricks ahead of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
  • The event venue is Woodward Copper's legendary 22-foot Superpipe in Center Village—currently the only Superpipe in North America.
  • The qualifications phase will be the best one (1) of two (2) runs count. In the finals, the best one (1) run of three (3) final runs counts. 
  • There will be a spectator zones and fans are encouraged to attend. The event will also be broadcast live on Peacock, with a rebroadcast on NBCSN.
