One of the top ski jumpers for the USA, Nick Fairall has loved flying through the air since his first jump at six years old. Nearly ten years of competition has culminated in his first-ever U.S. title in August 2013, which was followed by a top-30 World Cup result in Nov. The next time he lands may be in Sochi.
Nick watched his sister jump when he was five, but his mom wouldn't let him try it out until he was six. Then he was hooked. He's interested in studying aviation and loves to fly. Once he finishes with jumping, he plans to return to school to finish an aviation degree at Westminster College. He also enjoys water skiing, lacrosse, golf volleyball and soccer.
