Nick Daniels was on skis at the age of three and a member of the Squaw Valley Ski Team from kindergarten on. An all-around skier, Daniels honed his skills by mixing a steady diet of powder skiing and gate training at Squaw.
After a solid start to the 2014 season, Daniels had to go on injury shutdown in mid February. It was an extra bummer because at that point he was in solid position to take a few NorAm titles. Regardless of the season-ending standings, the young gun was able to garner big time experience with World Cup starts in Lake Louise, Beaver Creek, Val Gardena and Bormio.
Daniels was heading up the T Bar at Squaw with his dad by the time he was five. A few months later it was onto the intermediate runs, where he saw a group of kids in the Mighty Mites program. He joined the next day and has been gaining speed ever since.
