Dual sports athlete Mazie Hayden is fast coming down the mountain whether she is on two skis or two wheels. A pro downhill mountain biker in the summer, Mazie represented the USA at the 2017 World Mountain Bike Championships in Australia, finishing ninth in the junior women's downhill.

The summer of 2018, she finished third in a UCI World Cup downhill mountain bike race in Mont St. Anne, Canada, then two weeks later landed a silver medal in skicross at the 2018 FIS Junior World Championships in Cardrona, New Zealand.

Q: When you're not skiing or snowboarding, what are you doing for fun?
A: Downhill biking or hanging out with friends at UVM!

Q: If you could be a Disney character, who would you be and why?
A: I would be Jasmine because I am adventurous according to an online quiz I took.

Q: Tell us something quirky about yourself that people would be amused to learn?
A: I was born with an extra toe on my left foot that was removed before I was one.
