West Bloomfield, Michigan native Kyle Mack has been climbing the snowboard ranks for several years. He put himself on the map with a win at the Burton U.S. Open in 2016. In addition to a few World Cup podiums and two World Championship medals, Mack won the first medal, a silver, for Team USA in big air snowboarding at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.
His father first put Mack on skis at the age of three. When he crashed hard and didn't want to put the skis back on, his dad put him on a snowboard instead and he never looked back.
OFF THE SNOW
In the summer Mack enjoys some rest and relaxation from his busy snowboarding schedule. He also likes to hit the links and skateboard when he’s not at a Detroit Tigers game.
