A four-time Olympian and three-time Olympic medalist – gold in 2002 and bronze in both 2010 and 2014 (and fourth in 2006) – Kelly Clark is a trailblazer and dominant force in halfpipe snowboarding. She continually pushes the innovation and amplitude of her riding to new heights, making history and setting new records in her wake.

In 2011 Kelly became the first woman to land a 1080 in competition and is still one of a only a handful of women to successfully land the trick. With over 70 career wins to her name Clark is the most dominant competitive snowboarder in history, male or female.

While attending the Mount Snow Academy, Kelly's breakout year came in 2001; the then-16-year-old won the overall Grand Prix title that year. In 2002 she had a benchmark season, earning X Games gold, Olympic gold the U.S. Open and the overall Grand Prix title.

A member of U.S. Snowboarding (on and off) for 16 years, Clark has laid claim to three Olympic medals, seven X Games gold medals and 14 overall (making her the most-medaled woman in X Games history), five World Snowboard Tour titles, six Grand Prix titles and eight U.S. Open titles.

FIRST TRACKS
Who would have known that a plastic Mobile Monster snowboard from K-Mart would have such an impact on the world of snowboarding? Well, that's the equipment on which Clark got her start, linking turns on snow banks in Vermont. A few years later, she was enrolled in Mount Snow Academy, which launched the career of one of the world's best snowboarders.

OFF THE SNOW
When she's not riding or when she’s at home, Clark tries to be the same as when she's on the snow. "I want a life of consistency," she says. "I’m kind of more of a ‘what you see is what you get’ type of person." She also has just as much fun off the snow, and that can mean road biking, surfing, hanging out with friends, watching movies or reading. Clark also spends a lot of time fundraising for the Kelly Clark Foundation, which gives opportunities to youth and helps them become successful through snowboarding. The Kelly Clark Foundation has awarded over $125,000 in grants and scholarships (as of December 2015).
