Jaxin Hoerter's freeskiing career took off in the 2015 season, when he took home top honors at the U.S. Freeskiing National Championships in Park City, UT as well as clinching a first place finish at the Canadian Open. This Breckenridge, CO local is known for his amplitude and well-developed bag of tricks. Skiing since he could walk, Hoerter has been lucky enough to hone his skills in one of the world's best and biggest halfpipes.
Hoerter is a part of the new force of freeskiing rippers that are leading the charge for the next wave of American freeskiers, so keep an eye on this one as he sets his sights on Pyeongchang.
Living in Breckenridge, Colorado, skiing and winter sports were in Jaxin's blood. As soon as he could walk he was in a pair of skis and he hasn't looked back.
OFF THE SNOW
When Jaxin isn't skiing in the halfpipe you can find him mountain biking, dirt biking and fishing with his friends in the Rocky Mountains.
