Alpine Athlete Membership

It’s important your athlete has the correct membership for his/her sport. Please review the options below and the Alpine Membership & Benefits outline to determine which membership is best for your child.

SafeSport and Background Screening Requirements:

Members 17, turning 18 and older during the membership season, are required to complete annual SafeSport training and periodic background screening and Introduction to Avalanches training. All requirements must be completed prior to memberships being activated. Members turning 18 during the season, which runs July 1st – June 30th, will need to register for and receive a green-light background screening determination within 45 days of turning 18. (Short term members and some alpine masters are excluded)

Introduction to Avalanches Course Requirement:

  • The Introduction to Avalanches Course is completed through your online account

    • Members 17 years of age and older must have their own online account to gain access to the course

    • Linked members will not have access to this course

  • A link to the Introduction to Avalanches Course will be provided on the confirmation page and within your https://my.usskiandsnowboard.org account if completion is required.
